Amazon Linux 1 operating system is scheduled for End of Life on December 31, 2020. This means that Amazon Linux 1 will no longer be supported by Amazon and will stop receiving any updates, including security patches.

As such we will be upgrading our systems to use Amazon Linux 2 OS.

We will also be performing a database migration during this maintenance window.
